The Old Forge has been supplying beds and bedroom furniture to our customers in Sussex and Surrey for over 25 years, so we know a thing or two about Wardrobes!
But don’t take our word for it, here’s what M/s B said about us,
“. . . Exactly what I was looking for, the bedroom furniture looks fantastic and very helpful that you are able to deliver in the evenings. Will be back as soon as the budget allows . . . "
CUSTOM MADE BEDROOM FURNITURE
We custom make wardrobes and bedroom furniture using traditional Old English designs including Shaker (plain drawers fronts, square plinths and tops), Edwardian (raised and fielded feature to drawer fronts and cabinet edge to plinth and tops) and Victorian (mouldings to drawer fronts, tulip bun feet, rounded and stepped corners, arched door panels). Custom designing your wardrobe allows a huge choice and variety of standard and non-standard sizes and designs. We work from your design aspirations, as an example you can choose the configuration of doors, drawers and mirrors. We can custom make in Pine and Oak and finishes include, waxed, lacquered and painted.
READY MADE BEDROOM FURNITURE
We supply ready-made chest of drawers in three main collections.
Our ‘Ashdown’ Collection is a beautiful classic lighter range of oak furniture with generous proportions. Finished in a light clear lacquer, this gives the collection a casual contemporary aesthetic.
Our ‘Wealden’ Collection is a hand crafted rustic range, which exudes warmth and quality. The extensive collection allows you to furnish your rooms with co-ordinated pieces.
Our ‘Hapstead’ Range is our painted, ready made range, lacquered in a soft cotton colour and finished with hand waxed oak tops. Some of the pieces in this collection feature handcrafted woven water hyacinth baskets.
